The Oilers defeated the Kraken 3-1 on Saturday, October 3. Edmonton won in regulation after Leon Draisaitl broke a tie late in the third period. Connor McDavid scored soon after to finish the result.

Standout Performances

McDavid led Edmonton with two points. He scored once and assisted on Draisaitl's winning goal. His goal came late in the third period and gave the Oilers their final goal of the game.

Draisaitl also had a goal and one point. His finish at 17:33 was the key goal in the result. Owen Michaels scored Edmonton's first goal at 2:51 of the opening period, with Alex Formenton assisting.
