Terms of Use

These terms are the rules for using the Puckey website and iPhone app ("Puckey", "we", "us"). Please read them. They are short.

1. Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using Puckey, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Puckey. You must be at least 13 years old to make an account.

2. Your account

• Give true information when you sign up.
• Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• One account is for one person. Don't share it or sell it.
• Tell us right away if you think someone else is using your account.

3. What you can't do

• Break the law, or use Puckey to hurt, harass or trick other people.
• Try to break into, overload or get around the limits of Puckey.
• Copy our stats, pages or chatbot answers in bulk, or use bots or scripts to do it.
• Make extra accounts to get more free questions.
• Sell or resell anything from Puckey without our written OK.

4. Chatbot answers

The chatbot uses AI. It works from real game results, but it can still get things wrong or misread a question. Answers are for fun and information only. Don't rely on them for betting, money or any other important decision. Check anything that matters.

5. What you post

Things you add, like your bio, photo or an answer you share, stay yours. You let us store and show them on Puckey so the features work. Don't post anything that isn't yours to post, or that is hateful, sexual or illegal. We can remove anything that breaks these terms.

6. Our content

The Puckey name, design, text and software belong to us. Puckey is an independent fan site. It is not run by, linked to or endorsed by the National Hockey League or any of its teams. Team and league names belong to their owners.

7. Paid features

Some features cost money. They have their own terms, which you will see before you pay.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the iPhone app's settings, or by emailing us. We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms. What happens to your data is in the Privacy Policy.

9. No promises

We work hard to keep Puckey right and running, but we give it to you "as is". We can't promise it will always be available, free of mistakes, or that every stat is correct. We may change, add or stop features at any time.

10. Limits on our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any indirect loss, lost money or lost data that comes from using Puckey. If we are found responsible for something, the most we owe you is what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change when we do. If a change is big, we will tell you on the site or by email. If you keep using Puckey after a change, you agree to the new terms.

12. The law

These terms follow the laws of Canada.
